I would 100% rather spend all my spare time in my workshop than play games, now. Of any kind, really. I've played 2 titles in 10 years.

I quit for like 15 years. I wouldn't say fucked up my life though. Was working and having fun. Later in life i picked them back up

Same for about 10 years. Some classics I missed out on I am only getting to now, like RDR2, Witcher 3 and GTA V. Amazing experiences.
