My town "Hawaiian sunset" Pizza.

RinRin Pizza. Northwest Mexico specialty pizza.

Price adjusted to freedombucks: 6.37dlls for medium sized/8.26dlls large.
dough is sweet being a mix of flour and pancake flour.
Cheese is mozzarella with Monterey Jack.
Del monte pizza sauce. Cocktail cherries, canned pineapple and banana slices.
Bread texture: Crunchy, dry. No wetness in the sauce size. Sometimes crunchy bubbles of yeast/soda bubbleholes.

This is one of my favorite Pizza.
I grew with this pizza before the great hate.
When I was little my favorite was RinRin mushroom pizza. it was nothing but canned Del monte champignon on the same dough and cheese as Hawaiian sunset.
My brother liked the Hawaiian sunset. I liked it too but because a weird pride of not sharing same interests I pretended I just liked the mushroom one.

But in truth I liked the Hawaiian one more.
Later on talking with my brother many years later he said his favorite was the mushroom one forgetting completely our old childhood squabble.
Perhaps the great hate made him hate his previous predilect?
Perhaps the same foolish children pride was inside of him.

I always associate my brother with this pineapple pizza.
I always associate myself with the mushroom pizza.
For me those are our player icons.
For a long time I didn't had a good relationship with my brother.
But that was then.

I grew on a small mexican town.
It is a lovely beach town that is of late become gentrified with a lot of united states emigrants. The town is really a city and it is almost a vacation secret for the lucky ones. Ironically it's beauty is because the lack of people. The more tourist become interested in real state, the more it becomes like a real Mexican city with all its despair and disparity. I love tourists. But I hardly have a chance to interact with them other than when they are drowning or heatwave struck on empty streets near the pier. Lately a few of them have become very belligerent on facebook and some even demand being called expatriats. With them new faiths are appearing on town and while that is great. I know with time it won't because human nature.
I see the change on my part of the world.
Sometimes I wish I knew less like before.

I love when they love my small Mexican town that is actually a very poorly planned city that is slowly becoming a polarization between rich and poor after a long story of being one of the most progressive Mexican towns.
(mostly because we were not part of Mexico till the 70s)

In my town the specialties where pretty limited as I grew up.
I didn't knew the "Margarita" until I was an adult. Never had oyster mushroom pizza, or a pizza made with cream cheese.

So I have adapted and tried to make them on my own for my family.
I also learned to make anchovy pizza since those always got mentioned on cartoons. My brothers called it the zoidberg pizza. And my parents hated it.
