I hear this all the time in relation to kpop/jpop and I struggle to understand how it is any different from 'all Asians look the same'

Less the race, more the presentation. If they were all bands of white dudes, black dudes, or hispanic dudes theyd still be nearly identical

It's very simple: not all Asians look alike, but all KPop artists appear to have the same haircut, makeup and build (design or coincidence?)
