231 years since we have offically been a country. 3 impeachments. 2 in my life time. Says the state of modern politics

Or even society as a whole. Rats in a maze.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah that run around for the .1% like Trump and Turdo!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought Congress still had to vote on wether to impeach him? And we're saying it's a done deal?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's been impeached in the house. Now it goes to Senate, where Senate dems are whining that they need more evidence.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Impeach simply means charges are brought against him. The senate will hold the trial and vote (2/3 maj)to remove from office. Won't happen.

That's just plum crazy talk

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He wasn't impeached

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Sorry, i don't really know how the system works, but I'd be more than willing to be educated

Puns transcend party lines.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But he’s not impeached yet.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

He has been impeached by the House as of a few hours ago. Impeachment =\= removal from office

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

Wut

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No sweetheart, he has. Impeachment is voted on by the house and removal of office is voted on by the senate. He’s been impeached.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He has been impeached by the House as of a few hours ago on both articles. Impeachment =\= removal from office. It's simply like being 1/

Formally charged.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's an involved process.. this graphic from BBC simplifies it

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This needs to go to the top for all the people who don’t understand the process. Not a Trump fan by any means but I hate misinformation.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Does him being impeached prevent him from being re-elected? Like regardless of how it goes in senate?

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 6

Unfortunately no. He can still run and be re-elected

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Nope. Even if he's convicted and removed, he can still be reelected, to my knowledge

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I thought if you had been previously impeached you couldn’t be re-elected. But high school government may have failed me. Lol

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

After the Senate votes, they can have another vote to block him from future elections, but it's not required.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And this optional vote requires only a simple majority

Thank you! Welcome to America, where the rules are made up and the impeachments don't matter

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Just BS articles that the loonies made up because they have NOTHING on him. It will be thrown out in the senate and he will be re-elected

6 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 28

I know right?! Like what do they have on him besides all the evidence they need huh? Nothing, that’s what they have.

6 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 8

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Hahahaha. You are a silly goose if you think they have evidence. Plesse, for all to see, list said evidence. Waiting....

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

He literally said I said that outside the White House and then doubled down on it saying China should investigate it too.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Seriously, since biden is running for President, he shouldn't be investigated since he broke the law. He ACTUALLY admitted to a quid pro quo
