Just finished this

My friends wanted a unique gift for their wedding, and they are both obsessed with peacocks. I designed and made this bread knife for them. First time doing a scalloped serration. Sorry for potato, I need to find a decent local photographer. Banana for scale.

440c Stainless Steel
Mexican Rosewood Handle
Turquoise and Malachite inlaid
OAL: 15"
Blade length: 9"

That's...one helluva nice knife.

How the hell is that a potato photo. It's pretty fine to me?

I'm a peacock, captain. You gotta let me fly! Or cut bread, whichever. . .

Be sure to wipe your fingerprints off that thing.

Good catch. I wasn't paying enough attention to that for the photo.

I would make love to that knife.

That would most likely hurt. A lot.

Somehow my mind interprets this as short for a bread knife, but that might be me. Looks damn sweet though.

I'll be brutally honest, OP, I thought this was a banana knife from the thumbnail.

I can see it. I don't think that's a bad thing, though. Who doesn't want something as useless as a banana knife?

There you go, you now have a new project. A banana knife, maybe just a decorative painted blade, or banana etchings on a blade.
