We found these two via local shelter's advertisement. They had already spent almost a year living in the shelter after their mom ran out on them when they and their bro were only 7 weeks old.
They never caught the mommy cat or the owner of it. The mommy had just made a nest for her litter under a porch and got scared, when people found out about it. Other two kittens were 100% all right, but the smallest female had a crooked tail.
Because they were abandoned at such young age they got very attached to humans and which is why for the past 4 months our laps have never been cold and our legs have felt numb ever so often.
Meet Louhi (with the white stripe) and Sukkamieli. The names are Finnish and they're from the Finnish folklore.

One day we had -6F outside, which is also when we started heating the fireplace more regularly. Cats approved.
