This is Trumps approval rating, I don't want want to start fights, but I really want to understand. Why is his approval rating going up?
It looks like Trump is handling this pandemic terribly, costing lives. He's downplaying the severity, de-funding the organizations that we would respond with, ignoring official guidelines, misusing taxpayer money.

I know half the population isn't as dumb as people make Trump supporters out to be, so please if you like him tell me why, and if you hate him please be kind to anyone giving their opinion, we're on the same side here.

I've talked to a Bolsonaro Supporter and all she said was 'he's sent by God '. So I think it's nothing rational here aswell.

Don't worry too much. Trump got a crisis bump. So did Bush, of course bushe's was like 30 percentage points and Trump's is....3-ish?

Please remember: Republicans are less than half the population, and Trump supporters are less than that.

Trumps at 45% approval rating, so I am rounding a bit. Also only about 30% of the population are Rep. Many Ind. seem to approve of Trump.
