The Infernal and Celestial Towers - today's painting

I wanted to do something with some sort of gothic inspired architecture, and wanted to include a sky backdrop too.

Initially the colours were going to be only as on the right half, but as I filled the sky to the middle I thought an opposite side with contrast might look good, so I gave it a try.

I'm fairly happy with both halves although the shadows aren't great on either side.

As you can see, it's a very small painting. I feel like it could have a few more highlights but leaving it for now.

It was made using acrylics.
