I don’t know anything about cars or planes but this is cool as shit.
SkyDrive said that it completed a flight test using “the world’s first manned testing machine,” its SD-03 model, an electrical vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicle. This model is projected to fly at up to 1,640 feet at 62 mph for 12 miles, or a more efficient cruise speed of 37 mph for 20 miles. It will take a while for this to be available to the masses and obviously there’s laws and regulations to work on and the efficiency of flying cars but we are getting closer to living like the jetsons. Beep beep.
