I’m doing the 30 day push-up challenge in December.
#fitness #challenge #notadoctor

I'm thinking days 8 to 13 I will do in 2 sets, 15 to 20 in 3 sets, 22 to 26 in 4 sets and the last 2 in 5 sets..

Anyone joining in, if you can’t do the required number with good form, then rest your knees on the floor and try (a knee pushup). Or position your hands on the edge of a table or bench like your at 45 degrees and do it.. The numbers on each day won't work for everyone but putting in the effort and being able to do more pushups at the end of December than you could in November is progress

*Please don't hurt yourselves doing this*.

Take a few extra rest days as required. If the only thing you take away from this is a little more motivation and some additional exercise, then its still a win!

Where is the chart that shows how to get from 0 to 10?

No easy chat but the first step is doing 1. Knee push-up or incline. Anything to get started. Happy to tag you in. But just start please!

It seems daunting, but this is my 2nd push-up challenge, back-to-back. Do what you can to start. Work up to 10, then start the challenge. 1/

Also break the 10 into 3 sets during day. It really does get easier with time. You'll also see a big difference by the end of the 30 days :)

If you can do more than 10 do you start at ten or the number you can already do?

All it says is starting at more doesn’t count. So I just start at ten for no reason. Makes me think the entire concept is unthought out

Start where you can. Do more each day. aim is to achieve an improved capacity for pushing. If you can do 20 now and more in 30 days, good

Can we just do 50 every day? I mean, they’re pushups...

Just do other stuff to so your not just working one muscle group and everything builds evenly.

Sure. Go for it. Do what you can. Use it or lose it!

You don't have to so them all at once. The 100 pushup challenge has you do 100 throughout the day every day. You can do 10 an hour.

I do 50, twice a day, everyday.

If you need rest days to do 10 pushups a day you are what's wrong with this country!
