In my garden my boyfriend and I found a number of Swallowtail Butterfly caterpillar munching on our parsley. Much cooing was heard from us.
So.
Damn.

I think that's a swallowtail butterfly caterpillar, not monarch. I think that looks like parsley, and they feed on that.

Monarchs eat exclusively milkweed, so yeah, these are swallowtail caterpillars.
