Apparently, the earth is flat because when he watches a ship in the distance, the top of the ship isn’t the last thing he sees. The entire ship gets smaller as it moves further away. I should google it get more of the truth.

Simple test... put a telescope in the Atlantic shore, look east.... you should be able to see europe or africa if the Atlantic ocean is flat
