My dad passed away yesterday

I was on vacation in Montana when I got the call and I'm flying back today.

His sugar crashed day before yesterday (diabetic) and he was hospitalized. Previous heart, kidney, and colon issues all piled up. Docs switched to comfort carre. Only my mom and sister got to be in the room cuz covid sucks in Colorado rn.

Hospital was able to set up video call yesterday for me and my other siblings who couldn't be in the room. He went so fast.

I've don't know if I've even really stopped crying.

There's so much shit to do and I'm not up for seeing extended family. Might have to set up a GoFundMe for the damn funeral expenses but at the moment I can't stop blubbering like a lost little kid.

It's been a hard day and I just wanted to get a little bit off my chest.

Edit: Thank you imgur peoples for hearing me out. The words of support have meant a lot, honestly they might have helped me sleep. We've looked into the funeral options and my family has an appointment to set the up the details tomorrow.
