Advice - A cake day share

Yes Link. The first Hero to capture something of me. This was fairy tale that mattered to me about the knight saving the princess and saving the realm. Magic, monsters, a bit of goofiness, later music as well. The best part is the people in the game knew he was the good guy, the hero and he didn't have to say a word. Which leads me to it.

The first cake day I'm aware of I thought I should share. Even lost in user sub, at least I did something. Heroes are not larger than life. They don't need books or songs or even video games(most of those are fiction anyway) I'm not one. At least not all the time. I have been from time to time. Stopping suicidal friends and family, an ear to listen, and words to offer of kindness and support.

I'm awkward as all get out but I know a thing or two. That's what I want to share. Passion, Hope, Altruism and Justice.

Passion is hard to find, that thing or person or whatever that always makes you calm, focused and happy. Pursue that, and every second of a crappy job boring lecture or stupid people on the internet won't be able to hold you back.

Hope it can be a cruel thing don't get me wrong, it's not real, it isn't the thing you want or need. What it is though is that something in between that keeps everything from falling apart. Some people have real faith, some have it on religious grounds or in the people and passions around them. The point is taking it away or giving it up is a huge part of why the world sucks.

Altruism is basically giving a crap about people. No I don't mean making like Jesus or whoever your paramount saint of kindness is. I just mean that smiling, acknowledging that other people have lives and struggles too, then some small effort to be understanding. Yeah that tumblr bitch is completely delusional and wrong(I couldn't think of a better example) but he she or it whatever.. is a person hurt and or ignorant. It doesn't mean you have to talk to them, just stick to the circumstances and have a bit of class. Altruism is the hardest but what the world needs. The fuck you don't give? Maybe find one, and use it once and awhile.

And Justice. Justice is one of those words like "Liberal" and " Socialist" or "Communist" where the meaning is twisted or outright misused for a different goal. Sure it's most often used in legal matters, but here's what it means. Justice means being as fair as possible. The world sucks, people suck, but that is a vast generalization that is true, and it defines the word as unfair. So giving a person a little benefit, not taking the last slice of pizza, or dishing all of your pent up pissed off at that one kid that says just the wrong thing in game.. be fair let it out in little controlled bits, share that candy bar. Be so unfair in a kind way that unfairness balances back to that Justice.
