Had something similar with my niece. In the hospital for her 1st year, yesterday was actually the 1 yr anniversary of her liver transplant!

She was 1lb 11oz. Tiny little thing :) in the picture she actually weighed 2lbs

I know for sure that NICU nurses are amazingly talented people. Preemie care etc is so advanced now
