Ironic Bern

I respect Bernie, I disagree with a lot of his ideals, but that doesn't mean I cant appreciate where he is coming from and what he believes. Opposing Nuclear Energy doesn't make sense to me if you truly fear global warming and CO2 emissions.

Best scenario is he is ill informed. Nuclear Fission Energy has risks, but so does everything that produces energy. More importantly puts fear (of the word nuclear) in Americans and slows the development of sustainable Nuclear Fusion Energy, which is the only long term solution.

most European countries are vastly ahead of America in this aspect, and we desperately need to catch up. Hopefully this is a result of someone living though the cold war and being ill informed. If not, I fear, he would lose my respect.
