First ever attempt at baking!

I'm 25 years old and my baking knowledge ends at putting frozen toaster strudel in a toaster oven.... but today is my beautiful grandmother's birthday, and her only request was a yellow cake with chocolate frosting! It was an out of the box cake mix and pre packaged frosting that I livened up with some cream cheese. I'm actually really proud?! And it has TWO layers?!?! I didnt have enough frosting to completely coat the sides, but knowing my grandma it is definitely the thought that counts here... and not burning her kitchen down was a bonus. Happy birthday, Nan, I love you so much!

Suckling kitty tax! We just moved across the country to live with my grandparents because Covid has put me out of work for so long I was looking at homelessness in the near future. I'm not religious, but God bless my grandparents and their kind hearts for taking me and my kitty in. I really am just SO lucky to have them in my life!!!
