A poem that I apparently wrote

If you are here for the picture that is cool, I don't know who it belongs to as I got it off a creative commons site www.pexels.com.

Anyways here is the poem that you don't have to read if you don't want to I am not your mother.

Looking off a cliff I see one of the most amazing things

Peering through the fog, I catch a glimpse of something I rarely get to see

The sun, my heart filled with joy and my knees quiver as the warmth floods my body

What a feeling it is to sense something so great and powerful

Something so beautiful that it rained without clouds and produced a rainbow

But as quickly the sun came, the fog tries to block the light out from me. A battle begins

I step towards the edge, racing the fog from drowning me as it once did

The fog doesn’t stop, its progression as it reaches its arm but I step forward again

As I near closer to the edge, the fog still chasing me, I leap to dodge the fog’s clenches

But no matter how much I move it follows me closer and closer to the edge

I take a step forward and catch myself before as I narrowly escape a fall

I am now stuck, between risking life for light, or staying with the fog, as it nears me

I JUMP.
