This really pisses me off. I'm from Philadelphia but spent decades in the DC region. I raised my kids taking advantage of all the things DC had to offer. When you live in the region, you don't have to cram everything into one or two days. You can spend an entire day at the Zoo, an entire day at the American History museum, an entire day at (my personal favorite) the Natural History museum. Just walking the mall can take up a whole day.
At least once a year we did a show at the Kennedy Center, usually the touring Musicals but a number of other events. I used to be proud of our nations capital. Now I avoid it like the plague

I don't think so, Kennedy center is run by an independent bipartisan (previously) board him being the president of the board gives him some leeway. Albeit terrible and fascistic, I think this one MIGHT actually be legal.

I think of old rulers who were so reviled that monuments with their names were chiseled off when they couldn't be destroyed completely, so that no one now knows their names. It would do my heart good to know that the current Trumps were the last of their name (because they change it, or some other reason), and if no one ever named a child "Donald" again.
