Call me weird but I've been getting the same sandwich at subway since I was 5. Footlong on wheat, chicken, pepperoni, American cheese toasted. Pickles, peppers, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper.

Back then the buns were deep and cut to cradle your toppings. The roast beef was so much better back then

I worked inside an amusement park at Subway during this era and our prices were marked up so high they're just now caught up to 2025 prices. Folks would be pissed all over heated yelling at the high-school kid like I made the prices! Good times!

No they had Subways at the amusement park 4 of them all under one Subway. One at the water park, one at the UFO ride, one in the back of the Chicken Shack and one by the concert venue.

I love asking "What does BMT stand for?" Met two people who knew.

so... like 4 slices of meat? seriously, how did society let subway skimp on the meat pretending any of this was "healthy"? Oh right, a pedophile told us so. Wild times.

I was a Jersy Mikes fan for years up until they got bought by Black Stone and I haven't been back.

I miss Quiznos, but I was also always a big fan of Jimmy John’s.
