For the last 5 years I have been working on a Mobile game. In about 4 months I think I will finally be able to release it to the world. And what better day to share then on Talk like a Pirate day, because its a game where you play as a pirate. SO AVAST YA SWABS! And check out Shooty Seas!
I used to work for Ubisoft back in the day. Got laid off and when the Indie scene started and mobile games started getting good I joined an Indie developer locally. After working with them in a small 8 man studio I figured I could go out on my own. With my own funds I hired a programmer (cause Im the art guy) and the two of us have spent the last five years working on Shooty Seas, and browsing and Imgur (so much browsing).
The game will launch with 5 different biomes and races (though I plan to make more later). Pictured here are the Elves of Ravendale.

Though the core gameplay is arcade style, just sailing around blowing up stuff. It also has Boss encounters with Booty rewards. Featured here is the WarBarge.
And what kind of Pirate game would it be without a giant mechanical crab boss.
There are also sweet boats you can purchase. Each boat has its own unique play style and ability. Like being slow with heavy armor, self repairs, area effect damage, ghostly possession of enemy ships, tower construction, super speed, torpedoes, etc.

We also have some sweet items for you to use to battle said giant robot crabs. Things like, Miniguns, God Hammers, RPGs, Flaming Arrows, Sniper Rifles, Grenades, Flak, Harpoons, Saw Blades. You get the idea. Cool weapons abound.
The game also has a GTA style wanted bounty system where as you cause too much damage the Sea Patrol, or the Reef Pirates or the Royal Navy comes after you.
