Alright, so hear me out on this.
The world has a population of about 7.125 billion people. A lot, right?
Now Finlands population isn't nearly as big as 7.5 billion. Finlands population is about 6.5 million. That's a fraction of the worlds population. 6.5 million people is 0.0912% of the worlds population.
That isn't nine percent- that's point zero nine percent- less than one percent.
Now, the only reason that we know these numbers, is because of government censuses.
The thing about government censuses is that they aren't perfect. Not even close. The best of government censuses, and I mean the BEST, have a margin of error of about one percent.
So Finns make up 0.0912% of the planet, plus or minus one percent.
CONCLUSION:
There is a 50/50 chance that Finland doesn't exist.
JustHereToFactYouUp
Iceland is only about 330,000 and the only reason I know they exist is because I saw them on this map...

This is true. I live in Finland and sure enough, it does not exist at all. Beleave me.
Dvicemuse
That means Finland has a population of 6m +/- 0.1%. You can't use the global margin of error against a single census.
