Epstein Files Distraction # 79,302 ...The Kansas Nazi Party will do anything they can to help their dear leader/meal ticket. Hurting people and wasting taxpayer money for political theater is an added bonus for these scumbags.

They are punishing people who disgust them, but on a deeper level, they want all you people OUT of Kansas. A state run by prigs.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

With everything Nazis do, cruelty is the point.

3 weeks ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

And they're legalizing cruelty.

I can only hope some very well passing trans men will take up residence in the various female bathrooms in government facilities.

Underground Railroad Time.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

And how are you going to check the drivers "sex assigned by birth" on the side of the road?

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

They won't, just polling locations. The bill has nothing to do with driving. It's about intimidation and voter suppression.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Voting site staff: You better look solidly femme or masculine when you show up to vote, or we will assume your ID is invalid and you don’t get to vote. But that’s okay, because this will suppress liberal votes more than it will disenfranchise conservative voters.

Can't they sue the state now?

Republicans are fucking monsters.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

This will prevent them from voting, as they don't have any valid id anymore. They also might not get any new IDs due to tolerated discrimination, the postal service being able to intentionally not deliver necessary mail to them and many more hurdles.
Topple the tyrants!

Get. The. Hell. Out. Of. Kansas.

On top of everything else not giving a grace period for something decided in a few days, says it all even louder. America is wild.

Drivers’ licenses shouldn’t list sex/gender in the first place.

3 weeks ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

That's so obvious I wonder why I've never heard it or thought it before. If people are going to form opinions based on what you look like anyway, why does it need to be on there?

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For the same reason that most people fail the “Attach a candle to the wall with a box full of tacks” question: It’s a psychological phenomenon common to humans, don’t recall the name off the top of my head, but basically when we get used to an object being used for certain purposes, or being presented in a certain fashion, it gets harder to think about using it for different purposes or presenting it in a different fashion.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Anyway, the only reason it’s so blindingly obvious to me is that I’m a militantly agender person who would prefer to remove the gendered third person singular pronouns from the english language the same way Thou was removed from the english language.

Read "What's The Matter With Kansas?" There was a time when they were so wildly liberal the rest of the country made fun of them.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is it not unconstitutional ? Can this stupid arbitrary discrimination be blocked in court ?

All my support to Kansas Trans Drivers, who can drive just like anyone else !

If no driving license, no ID to vote on Midterms ???

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That's the goal. It's about stopping trans people from voting. They've already got the lists. No ID, no vote. Wrong gender, no vote... A random poll worker simply suspects you're trans, no vote until they can verify after the election. This bill isn't about driving.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How many trans in Kansas ? Is it the same scheme for the other states ?

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's about everyone who's not a maganazi. They're slowly chipping away. They started with Immigrants, trans came second, etc. Gay, Non-christians, woman, etc,. are coming soon.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Giving the losers they are, i'm quite sure it will fail in the end, what's worrying me is how much innocent deaths, brokend lives and despair they will cause. You gotta be smart, strategic and organized.
There is a day each year when the prez has an appointment with its people : 4th of July for your country...

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Question: How will anyone know it's wrong? How do they know which way you were/are transitioning?

Answer: They don't care, and will harass anyone they like on the grounds of looking trans.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It's gonna come in handy at polling locations when poll workers can deny people the ability to vote cuz they claim they're trans.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If some Kansas drivers licenses become invalid on Thursday, but there's no way to know which ones without a medical inspection of the person carrying the license, doesn't that mean they are all effectively invalid?
I mean, none of them can be taken as valid without some sort of supporting documentation that was previously unnecessary, and which no one routinely carries.

3 weeks ago | Likes 114 Dislikes 3

Yes. That's the point. It gives the reason to suspect anyone of being trans and choosing who does and does not have a valid license. Same thing with Poll taxes and literacy tests.

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Thats the point.. and it wont be fixed till after the midterms

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think the point mafiacarstarter is trying to make here is that every soccer mom, every Trump-bumperstickered Dodge Ram driving good old boy, and every geriatric Karen in Kansas ought to be pulled over and asked to prove that they were born the gender indicated on their license. Fortunately the current state of your genitals has nothing to do with it, so these bigots can keep their pants on during the traffic stop. Driving in Kansas without a birth certificate would make the state a fortune.

It's not about drivers licenses being valid or not. It's about flagging trans people and voter suppression & intimidation. It allows them to make lists of trans people (for future use). It also will give poll workers an excuse to deny people who they think are trans from voting.

3 weeks ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 2

Yup we truly have entered into a terrifying timeline. Trans ppl make up less than 1% and they're systematically trying to make a database. Its fucking disgusting, like leave these people alone they dont negatively affect a single thing. And historically have brought us so much more great things. I fucking hate how we treat eachother here.

3 weeks ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

But that's the thing. They can claim *anyone* is ineligible simply by saying so.
It is no longer the drivers license that conveys any rights or privileges, it is the whim of those 'enforcing' the new law that determine who has or lacks rights.
In Minnesota, they pretend to be going after 'illegals' to abduct and arrest whoever they want. In Kansas, they pretend to be going after trans people.
It's all just a rejection of the concept of due process.
Voter suppression is part of it, but not all.

3 weeks ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

That's the point. Now they have a "legal" way to decide who can and cannot drive, vote, apply for assistance, etc.

3 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Except that none of it is legal in practice. They have no intention of following even the laws they write, or obeying the inevitable court orders to stop when it becomes excruciatingly clear that this is de jure terrorism.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Previously Kansas allowed trans people to change the marker on their licenses. I'm sure they kept a record of everyone who did so, I am sure there is a database despite the fact there shouldn't be.

3 weeks ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

Yep. That data has already been collected. It will be used as the basis for enforcement.

3 weeks ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

That's not my point.
Drivers licenses are government issued identification. They are used for many purposes in many places.
Now, every bartender, grocery store clerk, or bank teller will have to suspect *EVERY* Kansas drivers license of being invalid. There's really no way to know without a publicly accessible database, which would be illegal for other reasons, mainly privacy and individually identifiable health information issues.
It's a shitshow that's clearly unable to stand up in court.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well the courts better hurry up because the deadline is today.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's why it got hammered through so fast. They made sure that inevitable court losses would come after they started terrorizing people.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How would they even know? You're a woman. End of story.

3 weeks ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 2

Conform to gender expectations or get turned away at the polls. Consider the scenario: a cis straight woman shows up to vote with valid ID, but she has pink and green hair, and isn’t dressed with enough “femininity”. Conservative voting staff gets to “suspect” an invalid ID and turns her away. No recourse to challenge or prove otherwise that won’t take time well past Election Day. Tada, one legitimate Democratic vote effectively suppressed.

3 weeks ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

The same way they were able to send letters out... send that info to police, police program it into their license plate scanners, fascism...

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Keep driving!

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The law isn't about driving. It's about voting.

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Yes, but also if they flag your license as suspended and you get pulled over for some reason, the potential results from that are not good.
Generally speaking, you do not want to get a ticket for driving on a suspended license.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's overall about intimidation. Drive them in the shadows. Make them criminals. Don't let them vote. Make it legal to harass them. Immigrants were first, now it's trans... They have a whole list coming soon. Nazi playbook.

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's up to the poll worker to decide when voting if your ID is valid. The goal is to intimidate and suppress trans people from voting. That's why they're doing it now. It allows them to flag all trans people early so they'll have lists. With the surveillance tech we have today, odds are they already know, and will just cross reference against the people who didn't update their ID's, and bam... you can't vote.

3 weeks ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

So...this encourages the ID's being changed, but if their transformation is convincing enough, won't the poll worker have issue with that too? Sounds like they just want to get rid of their vote whatever is on the ID. Which they definitely do.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Exactly.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You cracked the code. You are correct, the only real goal here is to invalidate democrat votes by 'suspecting' their IDs of being fake.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't emergency workers use a person's ID to identify what type of gender and age a person is to decide the best or needed medical treatment for the individual when they are passed out and can't provide information. There could have been situations where their license said female when they were born a male that resulted in the wrong medical treatment. So this could correct giving an individual the right treatment in an emergency.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

Yeah, i'm sure you give a shit about that you cunt.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Just down vote me.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Yes, I'm sure the GOP's concern for trans people in need of emergency care was the reason for this. :-)

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don't think the GOP is concerned for anyone, just keeping their jobs, and money. Fuck them. But I want people to get the correct medical care.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

Doctors talk to patients, they don't just check drivers licenses. FOH with this concern trolling.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I explained in emergency situations. I'm not trolling. Just because someone brings up a valid concern doesn't mean it's trolling. I explained if the person cannot speak for themselves. What does foh mean?

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

What trans-specific emergency are you thinking of, and why would having birth sex on a driver's license help? And why do you have to stoop to these nested theoretical drawbacks to justify the actual harm to actual trans people?

It's just so blatantly clear that you don't actually care.
