This is a Rube Goldberg machine created in 1995 by Walter Wick, for the Book: I Spy: School Days.
The picture is entitled "Levers, Ramps and Pulleys", and it takes the form of an elaborate machine, designed to preform a simple action: Popping a balloon.
Many of you may remember it, and if you were like me, you probably spent a good deal of time looking at it. The book itself was fun, but this was probably one of the most memorable parts of it.
This is the book itself, though some people may remember it differently.
Depending on the reaction this post gets, I may try and post more of this sort of thing. In the mean time, I hope that it brings back fond childhood memories.
If you wish see the machine in action, there is a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-00r54HAazA

I've heard of it. :) I've played the Incredible Toon Machine. A very fun game indeed. I'm sure I spent weeks playing it. XD

Thank you. I was a little nervous about posting it to be honest. I wanted to add more content, but there didn't seem to be much to add.

Spent way to much time with these books growing up. As well as their pc counter parts. Well hidden and awesome scenes in all of them!!!
