TLDR, job situation has me so F*ing stressed, I haven't had any happiness this season.
Halloween is my Christmas. It's when I get to feel most like myself. Dressed up, costumed, everyone is into spooky stuff. I get to be goth/fairy/witchy/ anything around anyone and no one blinks an eye. I love to dress up and I usually spend all year plotting and musing over my costumes.
None of that has happened. Quit a toxic job into a planned free-fall for a short period of time. Got anxious because I wasn't making money, got into a another job. End up seeing projects from previous workplace coming to new workplace because 3 of us left old job at the same time (Quiet effectively shutting down previous jobs production). New place is taking contract work from old place. Trauma, drama, and PTSD.
I have no costume planned or even slightly put together. and thinking about trying to put one together is causing more issues since I'm not enjoying it...
Anyway. Please take care of yourself, guys. I hope if you spent the time to read this far that you have a good day and something makes you laugh. Or at least enjoy my dog tax
((I'm doing my best to make sure I eat ok and stay hydrated))

Thanks, I'm making my way out now. I'm going to leave my job and block out a budget for therapy.

Same, there's other ways to celebrate. Dona scary movie marathon, eat loads of candy, hide a body.

That’s my plan! Well probably not the body thing… I had my last chemo session (for this round) today so could be a bit much dragging a body

That's why you get a friend, or patsy if you will, to help. Also congrats on the treatment
missymischief13
Thanks! And yes…. A patsy… I like the way you think

I hope you recover well. I'm on my way. Going to quit and clunk out some saving for therapy.
