Dahiya doctrine of bombing civilians. This follows multiple losses in S. Lebanon attempting to advance with infantry and armor against well-prepared Hezbollah infantry. As in Gaza, this is the only way they can 'hurt' their armed opponents. As a side bonus this is liable to trigger an Iranian R2P response that will be multiples of their last strike. Israel can only win out of the trap they've made for themselves by dragging in the US vs Iran. They could level Beirut and not secure their Northern border.

I'm not there, no. I just cannot imagine being in that city and having this happen daily, but I do try to put myself in their shoes. These bldgs have no military value whatsoever. This bombing campaign qualifies as evil walkin when those jets could at least be engaging combatants in S.Lebanon. Bldgs don't shoot back I guess... All this is a horrendous magic trick that turns a line on my paystub into rubble and civilians burned and buried alive.
