I've owned this bass for probably 20 years. Just re-strung with dr neons, and gave her a good polishing. Love this old guitar, she shows her age for sure, but still has a wicked tone.

Hard to beat a Gibson G3 with Bill Lawrence's S1 Buck-And-a-Half pickups. Always wanted one, they sound like nothing else.

Yeah i usually use slinkys, saw these recently, thought I'd give em a try. The look doesn't necessarily match the guitar. They play well tho
