Could always be the microplastics in our lungs. I’ve had a dry cough for a few months and I don’t want to find out I have lung/throat/whatever cancer, I’d rather microplastics

My cousin just got over the Whooping Cough after I heard that I made sure all my vaxs were up to date.

Ever get the feeling nature is doing its best to kill us and we just keep giving it the middle finger by cheating natural selection ? /s

I assure you, we aren't cheating natural selection. It's just a slow process.

Nature has always had the better hand. I think WWI was the first war where more soldiers were killed by weapons than by disease.

The "spanish" flu did a number tho and i dont think it is clear jsut how amny soldiers fell to it.

In previous wars it was "camp fever" that took most of them. Thousands of men in close quarters with no thought to sanitation invites typhus, cholera and all their friends.
