I had a similar setup with a tow behind and one confused cat for 14 hours.

Did you smack the trailer hitch AND the car while stating "Welp.... That's not going anywhere"?!?!
If you didn't you better pull over right now and do it else feel the wrath of the road gods.
Safest of safe travels!

I made sure to smatch the hitch lock and say they'll do just fine, tugged on the ropes holing the front down, said thatl do and gave em a swat just in case, and the security chains made sure to say they're not goin no where. I think I covered the predrive inspection

Check your trailer wheels for excessive heat periodically, and burning smells. That's a heavy load. And u-haul has a fixit when it falls off repair policy. I don't want you to lose your car and have a serious accident.

If you feel tired, don't push through. Find a rest stop and take a nap! I've done two 20+ hour moves, one with someone to drive in shifts and the other by myself. Ended up sleeping with the truckers on a dead-end street just off the highway because I got too tired.

Also, if you have trailer brakes, check them before you need them. And downshift down a long mountain. My truck had downhill assist and the trailer had brakes, but my co-driver didn't know that. I slept too long and woke up in the mountain pass, with my friend riding the brakes. Luckily got them to enable downhill assist and downshift before the brakes faded.

The truck doesn't have downhill assist but I can definitely down shift a gear while on the grades cause I don't wanna experience brake fade in this thing.

Wouldn't want anything to happen to the car! I had to drive my car separately (truck + trailer, then car). Be safe and have fun! I had fun setting up my phone to timelapse the fun parts of the long road.
