Took the tea cats to the vet recently.

Adopted them in June from the local humane society. They were orphaned with the birthdate given of 4-20-24.

Had no idea what a "Torbie" was prior to meeting them. Thought they looked like little werewolves.

"Pekoe" (peek-oh) is a premium black tea. We gave the smallest the name cause she had more black fur than her sister.

And initially, Pekoe was *tiny*. That's one of those small cans of cat food. She was only just larger than my phone.

We'd joke she was a witch-cat or that her eyeballs were too big for her head- cause she was ALWAYS staring without blinking.

Pekoe do be peeking.

Chai is "more blended" with cream patches and orange stripes.

As well as one little cream sock with pink toe beans. ❤

Chai's also half-muppet. She's no concept of jumping, or landing, or..climbing.. she just flings her whole ass body at her target and hopes for the best.
Really looks like a muppet being thrown at a wall..

And now, BOOM. They've grown. Pekoe is, and acts, like a princess. At eight months she's now 4.0k or 8lbs. Quick turn around from "runt" status.

While a demanding brat, she still takes on the hobby of standing just outside doors and staring at you. God forbid you try to potty by yourself because to her? That's a group activity.

Chai not giving a shit about sagging out her cubby. At eight months she's now 4.9k or 11lbs. Vet tech made a point to insist I know the unit of measurement was kilos and not think she was 5lbs.

Chai's a chill ass kaiju who will bombard your feet or plop down in front of you and insist on being carried like a big ass baby.

Vet said they're healthy. They're updated on shots. They clearly no longer need to be free-fed so it was recommended I give them food balls. They aren't fucking with those, unfortunately. So just gonna keep to a food time and a bowl.
