78 ........cat tax,... meet Jessica, a rescue cat from the shelter. Her new name is now Jessicat kitty Cat Tigerus. She is four years old, she spent almost a quarter of her life in the shelter or awol because apparently the kids in her home abused her, so she ran away and refused to go back. She didn't get along with any of the other cats in the shelter either so her home options were those without children or other cats, so very limited. I just moved into my first place with a garden of my own, small but sweet. At first kitty cat didn't much like being touched and she would bite me all the time. A couple months or so later and she is now my little shadow at home and I learnt she is really talkative in a sweet way. She even enjoys me taking notice of her now without biting me. I haven't had a cat since I was a kid, last pet I had was when I babysat my mum's rescue dog, who was also abused by kids, for a few months. Welcome home kitty. I was in the shelter a month or so after Christmas looking for a cat, there were a couple of kittens there that were abandoned just after xmas, unwanted gifts I guess. Please consider adopting a rescue animal before buying one from a breeder.
