One of these days Imgur... One of these days... Pow! Right to the front page, I'll go!
R.I.P. to this man who gave us one of the most famous TV quotes of all time. And during a time where people laughed at a man who basically beat his wife. Never on screen and the best thing about it was that people didn't get their panties in a bunch about some main character who beats his wife. I guess they knew it was for the comedy of the show.
The show is The Honeymooners for anyone who would like to watch the show. Great show. Highly recommend it. 8.6/10 on IMDB for those curious as to the score. Hoping this will put me on the front page. If not then I have no idea what you guys want.

Reminds me of that Eddie Murphy joke.

The first rule of FP is that we don't talk about FP.
MisterOates
I guess most people who hit the front page must've skipped out on that meeting seeing as how most FP material, has posters writing that (1)
MisterOates
They want to hit the FP. (2)
skipweasel
I don't go to FP - it's full of stuff other people like.
amomaxia
Congrats on not getting the gag at all.
MisterOates
I clarified it on another comment that I was wrong. Considering I'm trying to remember this show that came out way before I was born (1)
MisterOates
I'm sorry I was wrong and glad I'm getting rude comments telling me I was wrong. But still to have a saying like that talking about how (2)
MisterOates
He wanted to beat his wife would not fly in today's TV rules about abuse to your loved one (3)
HeyOP
He didn't beat his wife. He talked about it. That's why it was "one of these days" not "you want what you got last night?!"
HeyOP
2) And she called his bluff every time. Because it was bluff. He was full of shit, he was never going to hit her.
MisterOates
Fair enough. I was just reading his Wiki and must've read somewhere where I thought it was meant that he beat his wife off screen but (1)
MisterOates
That does make sense if he was full of s**t. Thanks for the clarification (2).
