A loyal supporter of Putin, the influential Russian lawyer Ilya Remeslo, is breaking ranks and calls him a war criminal openly, causing upheaval in the Kremlin.
Remeslo writes on Telegram that the war in Ukraine is 'failed and senseless' and that the fighting over 'small pieces of territory' yields nothing but death and destruction.

According to him, the reason Putin refuses to see this is "because the president is surrounded by yes-men who ‘only steal money’ and do not dare tell him the truth."
