Holy sh*t my dog knows right & left

I’ve had my dog for 5 years. He lived as a stray (as far as we know) for the year before I got him. I discovered recently that he somehow knows “right” & “left” directional commands.

I have no idea how this happened. I never intentionally taught him. It’s like magic every time I test him.
