Unfettered
The chain, my starting piece, represents Shawn Speakman's anthology of Science Fiction and Fantasy authors. The book was an amazing piece and introduced me to many new authors as well as different sides to those I already enjoyed.
Book
The chain tethers into a series of books around the wrist
Anansi Boys
Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite authors. The spider here is actually a doodle he did in a book he autographed. I sent him a photo of it and he actually responded (one of the nerdiest freak outs I've ever had).
Kingkiller Chronicles
Patrick Rothfuss has managed to capture my love in two simple books (and one more to go). I fell in love with this series and have read it multiple times in the past few years.
Lord of the Rings
White ink has never stuck very well on my skin, so we decided to tweak the White Tree of Gondor a bit. My childhood was filled with Tolkien's works thanks to my father, so this piece was a must.
The Wheel of Time
Robert Jordan's long and winding fantasy series helped fill a LOT of time while I was in Afghanistan. I was known to have one of the books in my pocket at any time I wasn't on a foot march.
Mistborn
Brandon Sanderson's strange fantasy series was the introduction to a new style of fantasy writing to me. He builds fascinating worlds and evolves them beautifully
Demon Cycle
Peter V. Brett's series became a quickly devoured favorite for me while down range. He was one of the first authors I received an autograph from, and actually posted this photo up on his facebook and personal website (which was a huge honor to both myself and my artist).

And I thought it was from house of blades
RadioEngineerMonkey
You lost me on that reference. Elaboration?
jsaund86
House of blades is the first book in a series. On of the territories is the house of blades in the book and the more they use their 1/?

Powers chains went further and further up their arms until they choked em to death.
