2017 has claimed it's first victim

Stuart McLean, long time host of the popular Canadian radio show The Vinyl Cafe has passed away today after a long battle with melanoma. The Vinyl Cafe was a weekly radio show, that aired every Sunday at lunch. The show toured the country, and frequently visited small towns. The highlight of the show was the excellent and hilarious stories told by Stuart himself. They followed the family Dave and Morely, and thier various mishaps and adventures. Stuart McLean was 68.

Not the first but he will certainly be missed.
