Tre, but be careful how you frame it. The left defending themselves and standing up to naziism isn’t why Germany fell to the party. There are tons of people on here that would try to twist that into the “just sit there and take it” mentality.

It's also important to note that MAGA has gaslighted the left-wing. They have infiltrated protests and sparked violence, which would encourage a riot to break out... and thus giving the right-wing "credibility" to claim that Black Lives Matter protests were destructive.
Note that all it took was just for a few skirmishes... and then those were repeatedly aired on FOX News. Remember when a Haitian driver struck a school bus and a kid died? FOX News demonized Haitian immigrants over it. 1/

That's such a common gaslighting technique. One incident happens and then it's plastered everywhere, and used as an excuse to vilify an entire demographic. It's extraordinarily reprehensible and dangerous... and a news outlet should not be able to do that with impunity. Unfortunately captive audiences won't understand what's really happening and then go along with it. We've seen plenty of videos where MAGA shouts "go back to your country" to non-whites... who have legal citizenship or born here.

100% agree. The US wants to get through the "traditional" totalitarian regime into a post-totalitarian regime. It's like a speed run. The point being the nazis were calling non-communists "communist" to drum up fear about a more distant "communism" threat than the more immediate "nazi" threat. I didn't miss it, and its not "whataboutism" (a favorite of folks who dont like the "bad" socialist histories) because there were in fact communists trying to maneuver their way into a post-WWI Germany. That communists call enemies "nazis" & nazis call enemies "communist" is not on accident and it's ongoing, yourself a prime example.
