This is Matilda, she is a Blue Tongue Skink. She was a rescue pet because her previous owners didn’t have the knowledge to take care of her so I bought her for me and my SO.
She was always there to make me feel better, she was always happy and social with me.
She would always find a way to escape her cage somehow so I started to call her Matilda because of how clever she was.
One day I was holding her and I noticed she had mites all over her. So I tried giving her multiple baths and cleaned her cage out.
Unfortunately she died on November 27, 2017. Im just happy that she died in her sleep. I will always remember you! :(

My condolences. We have one as well and they are awesome pets. Atleast her life was comfortable at the end
