Whenever I go to Shanghai for work I always try and squeeze in some fun foodie adventures. Here is a collections of one of my favorites so far. This is one of my favorite pics.. love all the reflections on the ground. Qiboa is a beautiful area comprised mainly of locals. You will not hear or see any english. It is a place that is lined with different food shops and you pretty much snack your way around the area eating some of the best food I've ever had!

First snack-- a big hunk of pork! They slow cook the pork in a sweet/savory broth. Its was so tender the meat melts in your mouth.

My co-worker who is Shanghainese born and raised. I asked her to take me to her favorite place to eat and here we are at the entrance of Qiboa. It also helped soooo much that she speak both english and Chinese.

More snacks! as you can see the street is lined with delicious goodies.

Soup time! Mine on the right is a stewed lamb that taste like heaven and my friend got regular soup with boiled lamb on the side with a sweet dipping sauce. The pork we bought earlier is in the plastic bag.

Our view from the inside of the shop. That ladies knows whats up with is comes to pork!

This was my second favorite photo of the day. Something about this composition makes me so happy.

Dumpling ladies hard at work. It was amazing to watch how fast and meticulous they worked.

Time for some tofu snackies!! I'm not vegetarian and really not the biggest fan of tofu but this, this was so good. Can't go wrong with fried snacks.
