This is funny, but just in case people believe it: it's silly Hollywood bullshit. A true undercover officer could do drugs to maintain their cover. There'd be a lot of documentation and medical tests done afterward, and might be a huge headache to deal with but yes, they can do it. In some cases, specialized rehab programs for UCs are used after, but they can do drugs. Another myth: people think that if you ask an undercover cop if he's a cop, he has to tell you. That's completely false.

Even if they had to legally tell you. Cops only get suspended with pay for "accidentally" killing an innocent person. So they wouldn't give a fuck either way.
