Back in the day this would have killed any president's term. Hell most of what he did in his first term would have killed him. But thanks to Nixon, Regan and Ford, as well as Citizens United most of our politicians are bought and are told not to do anything that would actually gux the issue. As long as billionaires give money to the super pacs, very little can be done by congress.
