Buttercream Paintings (done with a toothpick)

I had half an hour to spare one day (along with a a few leftover cupcakes). and wondered "Can I somewhat recreate famous paintings with nothing more than buttercream frosting, edible food dye, and a few toothpicks?"

The answer is...sort of, but not really.

See, this is the sort of honest answers I like

Half an hour to make, but only half a minute for those bad boys to disappear with my mouth.

I thought this said Buttcream paintings, and I was very impressed. Then I saw it was Buttercream. Still impressed. Also disappointed.

I am almost certain I could work with Preparation H - just not on cupcakes.

A little of both. :) I run a small one woman show. I do made-to-order events and a few local festivals.
