Toe jam and moss? That would be a "nope" from me.

I commend you for your reference. Also, moss is, without a doubt, the most glorious thing to walk on.

Yes, but then you get more BUGS!

Done right, the moss would be grown from spores in sterile media - so no bugs. In a clean house, probably no bugs would ever get to it.

I have been trying to convince my wife that would should replace our entire lawn with Moss for years, this might be a great first step.

What exactly is the purpose of this?

It's pretty... you feed it by stepping on it while as you get out of the shower. Low maintenance garden. ^_^

Now I'm thinking how I can improvise something similar... because I WANT! :)

Yeah I've been trying to figure out how for a while. The trick I think would be growing from spores and using sterile media to avoid bugs.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, but my problem is the growing platform. Bugs can be killed with an insecticide.

Moss can be killed with an insecticide too probably :P I think for platform you could put mesh on a plain rubber mat, then use some amaz...

ing glue to put a wood framework on top in whatever shapes you want. The mesh would provide enough grip for the moss? Now to find the glue..
