Done right, the moss would be grown from spores in sterile media - so no bugs. In a clean house, probably no bugs would ever get to it.

It's pretty... you feed it by stepping on it while as you get out of the shower. Low maintenance garden. ^_^

Moss can be killed with an insecticide too probably :P I think for platform you could put mesh on a plain rubber mat, then use some amaz...
