My friend and I made this, shooting for an official world record in the coming weeks. Wish us luck!

Theirs reports of Asian kids doing it in 1/4th the time.

Burn the witch!

I wonder how many times it broke a cube due to blocks 'sticking'.

A dozen or so. Not uncommon.

Is this gif in reverse? If not, it's awsome.

How many cubes got turned into a pile of little cubes in debugging?

Several. Fortunately none were damaged beyond simple reassembly.

Nice work! I know that wasn't easy. (EE here)

How efficient is the algorithm you're using?

Optimal average is about 18 moves, but they are WAY harder to find.

Pretty good, using Kociemba in C++. Averages 21-22 moves and finds solution in about 50ms.

So a real "Next challenge" would be to use two arms/hands and a single or two stereo pair cameras.
