I maked a thing!

So I entered into #ludumdare43 with four of my friends. We worked on a pretty interesting game that we have called:

"Sweet Suffering"

We are still working on making it even better because, I'll be honest, we didn't have enough time in the Jam to make all of our awesome ideas. Once of my friends is even trying to convince me that we should hire some professional voice actor for this game. So far, I'm thinking the voices are fine.

The overall concept was this: four friends are stuck in the zombie apocalypse (because there aren't enough zombie games already). The zombies are infected by spores that have contaminated a large quantity of lollipops.

I still consider this game in its alpha stage because of how many things we still have yet to implement/polish. It is playable and pretty fun already though, I think. Plus, I've already got some updates planned for now.

This is a free game so, like, there's no reason not to try it out.

Here's the cast:

Layla Lancaster
A punky girl who is still tough enough to hold her own.
She is the cheeriest of the group, always shining bright in the darkness of the apocalypse.

Lucky Rich
This one has evaded death time after time.
Disease, injury, nothing has been fatal.
But now the apocalypse is nigh.
How long can Lucky's luck go for?

Chika Star
A result of some experiment
She has cat ears and mandibles for horns
She has been an outcast her whole life due to her odd features

This game is still in development. Feel free to check in on it every now and then! We are really excited to see how good we can make this game! It started out as just a project for Ludum Dare, but it's kindof evolved into something I want to work on for a while.
