Work as a framer so the spill from the saw made some great angles to work with :^) will probably treat it with some oil/wax later

Do you have anything running through the "hook"? Wood grain at that orientation can snap pretty easily.

Yes, I put a screw there in the centre from the backside, figured that will do the trick :p
