I’m 45 years old and I voted for the first time. I got my ballot by mail, filled out out, blue down the board, the hand delivered out to my local elections office.
I felt this election is very important and we can’t let the Trump back into any level of control of this country.
I also want him to be alive and healthy. I want him to experience losing this election. I want him to stand trial for his crimes. I want him to go to jail for the rest of his natural born life.
Get out there and vote. The country depends on it!
Most Viral Edit? For this?!

Thanks for voting! I want everyone to vote that has that right. Even if someone votes for a candidate or issue I don't agree with, I will always defend their right to make that choice. I sincerely believe that the more people exercise their right to vote, the stronger we are as a society.

He's never going to be punished for his crimes. Watching his ego go completely unsatisfied for the rest of his life would honestly be just as satisfying, though.

I mean, even if he's alive, he so mentally incoherent at this point it probably won't even register. His response will be something like "it's 2016! I'm president of the world and I'm 7 feet tall," right before he shits his pants

You're never too old for doing something for the first time. Nice going

Yea thats bullshit. My grandfather died because he wanted to try heroin -once- 4 years ago.

Congratulations and welcome to a part of the solution! I don't even care who you voted for or what your politics are. If you don't vote, you are a major part of the problem.

I have one friend in particular that isn't registered to vote. It's not easy, but i respect their decisions even if they don't align with mine. Not everything is black and white when your entire family is Republican.
It's a giant reason i left my hometown.

I'm from Canada and I farted. Please do not count that as a vote for Poilievre.

I'm 52 and voted for the first time since the age of 18. Back then, I had no idea what I was doing, so started picking whoever had a better sounding name. After that awful experience, I figured I would cause more harm than good since I didn't follow politics. 34 years later, you can't help but follow the shitshow that is our lives here in the US. My mom voted last year for the first time at the age of 70, saying we can't let this idiot win. I concur. We have to do everything we can.

I finally convinced my friend to vote for the first time in decades. We're in a solidly blue state but red county. I think telling him to research project 25 finally did the trick. Every little bit helps.
BadPunsAplenty
Excellent! If you were called to action to keep the ochre ogre out of office, I imagine a LOT of people were similarly motivated.

Trump has catched some wind the last couple of weeks, he might grab this, go out and vote
BadPunsAplenty
Oh yeah! I live in the bluest of blue places, but I still vote every time.

Yeah, this is far from my first time voting, but this Thursday at 11a Eastern, I'm doing a 2hr volunteer shift making phone calls for the Harris campaign. Have never done any formal work in any way in politics, volunteer or not, but its so damn important this time around.

So, do I need to put this upvote in my ass?

Protect it and use it sparingly. Pass it on only to those who truly deserve it.

I'll go ahead and get him caught up for every election he missed. *Burrrrrp*

First time eh? May I ask why you've never voted before? No judgement, just curious.
Calicious
I have the same question

The response is in the thread

My guess would be you never realized how much it mattered until you saw what trump did to your country, or life circumstances made it difficult/irrelevant from your perspective.
VindictiveBathToaster
You hit the nail on the head. Before, it was just two old guy fighting for control, but like, that funny girl slapping fighting.
Trump is a real threat.
Trump is someone that has never been told “no”.
Trump of a compulsive liar who believes if he lies enough, it will become truth.
Trump Is the kid that goes to someone else’s birthday party and throws a hissy fit because they didn’t let him blow out the candles. But now he has nuclear codes.
C141Clay
Thank you.
HawkmanXLII
Yep. Good for you for recognizing the threat and deciding it's time to act.
