Philco radio from 48. This is the decon. It needs a lot of love.

The previous owners replaced the original record player with this decent alternative. Yeah, not going to trust my good vinyl to this, but maybe the stuff I don't like?

The working clip. I an on a website for repairing these things but have never come across this piece of hardware. Let me know if you have a source, please!

The speaker. Haven't been able to test it. With this radio, you have to recap and test a bunch of stuff before you fire up the speaker.

A mouse made a home in the wiring here.

A whole lot of recapping needed.

I'll need a new wire, but unsure how to replace this punk.

What's left of the label. Pretty sure the mouse got to this.

Another project. Fixing a Remington portable typewriter. This is much more familiar. The radio repair is new to me but I have a good bit of experience fixing typewriters. These are the paper feed rollers and I will replace this rubber.

So someone wisely pointed out that Christmas selfies are okay, but Halloween selfies would be better. I'm posting this instead of an Xmas selfie. It shows my two main projects at the moment.
