#5 Never LOAN money to family and friends. GIFT them and forget it, forget ever seeing it again. Loans break relationships, gifts do not.
RevolutionOnHerLips
Boom! Thanks OP!
RocknRootRanchcuzallwegotisrocksandrootsandafewtrees
The perfect way to end my day, thanks @op !

#3 note to self. Carry half eaten pizza in aluminum foil while traveling with drugs.

#5 Boromir would've returned it with interest

#5 on the flip side of this story I took in one of my best friends at the time, let him live with us for months with no rent, and eventually paid a deposit on his own apartment, about $2000. Last I heard he was halfway across the country. I'm never seeing that money or my "friend" ever again.

#8 holy crap those ground services peeps def got the loud chat after this.

#5 I just did this last week and I am way past my 20s for a coworker friend with issues who quit work and had to move out of state to get a new job. Why? His life is shit, his family is shit, he needed someone to do something helpful for him.
shalafi71
#5 Friend burned his house down, was in shock, lost it all. I gave him $300 cash, his other friend took him to Walmart for EVERYTHING...
shalafi71
...Man literally crawled out under the flames with nothing but the clothes on his back. We didn't question, we drove to Alabama and GOT him.
ElusiveThing
Needed this one. Thank you kindly.

I also love the cool kid all in black with what looks like a death metal hoodie, with a brightly colored toy bow and arrow. :)
NussKnuspermix
#3 thats how you turn your drug-dog to a pizza-dog.
RUFingKiddingMe
I was thinking the same. That's exactly why pizza "confuses" him.
MultiFacets
Happy Cake Day, hoopsnek. Thank you for adding the GIF of the Pomeranian on the massager. Fluffy dogs are among my favorites. <3

#10 … one of my favorite pictures is a candid shot I took of our (former) UPS driver, Brian, hanging out with my Great Dane. He always brought him treats. But his treats were from his dog (a little apartment sized pupper) so he’d bring 3-4 each time. Miss him. But not as much as my dog misses him.

So, I think this is the office, but I haven't watched it, so my brain went straight for the Gru voice.
BeardedWonder82
I prefer that voice honestly
DarkSock
Haven't seen the office? Well, the weekend stretches out before you!

#18 ok wow! But feel sort of bad for the kid, imagine having a highlight like this aged ten'ish... the whole rest of your life is gonna be a real big disappointment for sure😂
Columbus43219
Not if he was doing it for someone else.
shalafi71
At that age he has dozens of even better highlights ahead: Making love not sex, saving his own or another's life, SO much more to come.
Wheretheheckisjason
I will be sharing most of these with my kids and then reposting them In the dumps of what I share with my kids. Thank you for being my meme supplier.

Thanks for contributing to today's dose of smiles, OP. Hope things are looking better and brighter for you & yours.

Thank you. Hope you and your people are doing well too.

#4 made me sad. No one in my entire family would ever do something like that for me. They didn’t even do it when I was young.

Thank you!! Your posts teach me to open my heart and not be afraid to engage with people around me. To notice small golden moments, love you 🥰. And yes, I am forwarding to my grandchildren. Your compassionate eye matters more than you think.

#3 So you're saying i can smuggle drugs if i bring my pizza along?
Samthetrue
Who needs drugs when you have pizza?
I mean, both would be ideal I guess.

#5 I gave a friend with breast cancer $500 and framed it as hospital parking vouchers. Her new husband paid me back about seven years later.

I gave my ex a lot of money over the years. Turns out I’m not even the first idiot she’s duped out of thousands of dollars. Guess I should have seen it coming?
satanslittleposter
That sucks but choosing to help people when you think they need it says something about you. What they do with that help afterwards says something about them. I decided, long ago, that if people say they need money, and I can afford it, I will help. If they were lying, or do something else with the money, it's not my problem.
