oh honestly, the federal govt has almost zero control over voting, he can't call off the next election or fuck with it without states help, and his term ends regardless of an election being held. If he stays longer than 4 years it'll be by refusing to recognize the winner of 2029, not by cancelling elections, blue states at least, will be voting in 2028. Also, if it comes to that, we'll be in an immediate civil war.
